Thrilling Dance Comp Results

Late last year, my sister Harper and I auditioned for the competition team at my dance school and were excited to be selected to perform a pom routine at CheerCon States. 

This competition brings together studios from all over the state, so we knew it was going to be a challenging experience. Once the teams were announced, we started training every week. Our rehearsals were intense and we did lots of rehearsals to refine our routines. When we weren’t dancing, we pushed ourselves through strength training to build stamina for the performance.

The competition took place last weekend and it was such an incredible atmosphere being surrounded by so many talented teams. Performing on stage felt both nerve-wracking and exciting, but all of our hard work paid off. 

The results were really close, and we were thrilled to place 2nd in our category at States. The same team also competed a few weeks ago and we came away with 1st place! 

It made all the training, effort, and teamwork completely worth it. Overall, it was such a rewarding experience to perform on such a big stage and both Harper and I are really proud of our teams results.
