Grade 6 Summer Sports Gala Day

Last Thursday, our Grade 6 students set off to either MSAC, the Edinburgh Gardens or the Brunswick St. Oval to compete against our neighbouring schools in the North Carlton District Gala Day! From around 10 am to 2 pm, our students showed incredible energy and spirit as they played exciting matches in their chosen sports: Basketball, Newcomb Ball, Rounders, Tchoukball, and Cricket.

They played hard and had a fantastic day that was all about more than just winning! This tournament was a brilliant opportunity for our Grade 6 stars to build their game knowledge, practice essential teamwork skills, develop their social skills with peers from other schools, and demonstrate amazing sportsmanship.
