Debating Club Off to a Great Start

Our Debating Club began last week and was a great success from the very first session. Students shared their opinions on a range of topics and took part in lively and thoughtful discussions.

It was wonderful to see students confidently expressing their ideas, listening to different perspectives and responding respectfully to one another. We look forward to seeing the club continue to grow throughout the term.

A big thank you to Ms Nadal for establishing and leading this fantastic club and for providing students with the opportunity to build their confidence, communication, critical thinking and public speaking skills.

STEAM Club takes flight

Our STEAM Club welcomed visitors from Casey Tech School on Thursday, 30th July for an exciting hands-on drone workshop.

Students learnt how to operate the drones using iPads before enjoying the opportunity to fly them and put their new skills into practice. One of the highlights of the session was watching students carefully guide the drones to land on their peers' outstretched hands, demonstrating impressive control and precision.

The excitement doesn't end there, with Casey Tech School planning to return at a later date to teach students how to code the drones, providing another fantastic opportunity to explore emerging technologies.

We sincerely thank the team from Casey Tech School for sharing their expertise and providing our students with such an engaging and enjoyable learning experience. We look forward to welcoming them back to the College for the next session.
