Pakenham Principal's Powerboat 500 Reading Challenge (PPPC 500)

What do our students think of our Pakenham Principal’s Powerboat 500 Reading Challenge? 

The following are the responses of some of our students when asked how the Reading Challenge has affected their reading habits and attitudes to reading:

"The Challenge has encouraged me to read more in class and given me more opportunities to explore books in genres than I don’t usually read. I have been reading Horror and Mystery, rather than just Fantasy. It has also allowed me to delve into new books I don’t have at home."

"Due to the PPPC 500, I have been able to read at least 45 minutes a week. The Challenge has helped my brain become more ready for learning after reading 15 minutes at the start of the lesson."
