Outstanding achievements in Statewide knockout and 7-a-side soccer

Our year 7 and 8 boys recently participated in the Statewide Knockout round 1 event, competing against Morialta Secondary School and Hallett Cove School. 

We are delighted to share that they emerged as outright winners, defeating both teams. This victory advances them to the next round. In addition, our year 11 and 12 7-a-side soccer teams travelled to Service FM Stadium at Gepps Cross. 

The year 11 team finished 3rd in their pool and played off for overall 5th and 6th place. They delivered a great performance, securing the win and finishing 5th overall.

The year 12 boys were the outright winners of the day. They topped their pool and played skillfully and composedly in the final, securing the title. The team included Luca H, Alex G, Sei G, Angus B, Levi R, Danillo Z and the all-round goalkeeper Ben W, who played for both teams. Ben's goalkeeping skills were absolutely incredible and commendable.

Victor Harbor Netball Carnival 

On Tuesday 30 July, three enthusiastic teams of year 9 and 10 girls represented our school at the Victor Harbor Netball Carnival. The day was filled with competitive spirit, teamwork, and plenty of fun as our students took to the courts against schools from across the region.

Each team displayed great sportsmanship and determination throughout the day, with many close and exciting matches played. A special mention goes to the students who took on umpiring duties during the carnival - your leadership and willingness to contribute to the smooth running of the event were greatly appreciated.

We are proud to share that one of our teams finished the day as division winners, a fantastic achievement. 

Congratulations to all students involved for representing our school so positively, both on and off the court!
