Visit from the Embassy of Spain and STASA President

On the 26 of June, we had the pleasure of welcoming Andrés Gómez Barba, Education Advisor from the Embassy of Spain in Australia, and Laura Mason, President of STASA (Spanish Teachers’ Association of South Australia) to our school.

They attended a presentation by our year 12 Spanish Continuers students, who shared highlights from their recent study tour to Spain in April.

The students spoke confidently and enthusiastically about their experiences, demonstrating not only their language skills but also their personal growth and cultural learning. It was a fantastic presentation, and our students made the school community incredibly proud.

Andrés also took the opportunity to speak to the audience which included several middle school students, about the benefits of learning Spanish and the support the Embassy offers to Spanish programs in Australian schools.
