Administration News

There's something really special about country art, and I especially love the incredible creativity and skill showcased along the Silo Art Trail!  The photo above was taken by my sister (and GSG Alumni Boarding parent) during her recent trip to the Cape York Peninsula. This beautiful piece of artwork was discovered in Varley. We’ve featured many other stunning photos from the region in The Boarding Buzz, including the silos in Pingrup and Ravensthorpe, as well as the soldier settlement murals in Jerramungup.

We’re always looking to showcase more of our region’s charm, so if you have any landscape-format photos of your hometown that you’d like to share with the Boarding community, please send them through to dianne.franzinelli@gsg.wa.edu.au. We’d love to see them and share them with other Boarding families through The Boarding Buzz!

Wilson Day

Wilson Day is on Friday 27 June. Get ready to show your colours! The theme is simple and fun - come dressed in your favourite sports team colours, your house uniform, or just your favourite colours!

Gold coin donations will be collected to support the Albany Youth Support Centre.

There’s more to look forward to:

  • delicious ice creams for sale
  • Year Twelve vs Staff Wilson Handball showdown!

It will be a colourful and memorable day for a great cause!

School Bulletin

A reminder to families that all information pertaining to Boarding will be published in the School Bulletin, which is distributed to families each Tuesday.  It is important to read this communication each week.  Some families have put a reminder in their phones to look out for the Bulletin each week... a very handy tip!
