From the Directors of Boarding

The term has continued in a positive fashion, with plenty to celebrate. As expected, the boarders excelled at the Interhouse Athletics Carnival, participating with enthusiasm and representing their houses with pride.
Routines
Over the past few weeks, we have focused on key areas with the boarders, including leave processes, duty of care at sporting events, and maintaining routine and respect in the dining hall. While there is always room for improvement, the boarders have embraced these expectations well. These are not new initiatives but rather refreshed reminders of past protocols.
Sunday Session
The first Sunday Session was fantastic, with a great atmosphere following the relocation of the fireplace. We hope to add overhead lighting, as was done previously, along with a few benches to create a welcoming space where students can gather and share their weekend experiences before heading into another busy week of school and boarding life.
Exams
Exams are in full swing: Year Twelves in Week Seven, Year Tens in Week Eight, and Year Elevens in Week Nine. The Breaksea girls have set an incredible example of dedication and hard work, with the Zen Den becoming a hive of study activity at all hours, truly inspiring to witness. This group has a clear goal ahead, looking forward to Country Week and the holiday break before gearing up for a final push in Term Three.
