RoboCup Melbourne Regional Competition

Celebrating Our Robotics Champions!
We are delighted to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students at the recent RoboCup Competition, where they demonstrated exceptional creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Our robotics team proudly brought home three Gold Medals, an incredible accomplishment that reflects the students' dedication, perseverance, and countless hours of preparation. Throughout the competition, they showcased not only their technical knowledge and programming skills but also their ability to collaborate effectively under pressure.
After five rounds, Jesse Machalek finished in the top three in the Secondary Rescue Line event, and Skanda Madapura Guruprasad also in the top three in the Mighty Maisy Rescue Maze event. In the final, they held their nerves and their robots made a faultless execution to claim gold medals.
While Spain won the FIFA World Cup, Alex Ng and Oscar Want’s robotic soccer team won all their matches in the round robin and easily won the final.
This remarkable success is the result of the hard work and commitment of our students, the guidance of our dedicated teacher and mentor, David Ebert, and the encouragement from their families.
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to all parents and carers for your continued support. Your encouragement, patience, and commitment to helping your children prepare for training sessions, attend competitions, and pursue their passion for robotics have played a vital role in their success. Your partnership with our school makes achievements like these possible.
Congratulations to our talented students on this well-deserved recognition. You have represented our school with excellence, determination, and sportsmanship, and we are incredibly proud of what you have accomplished.
We look forward to seeing our students continue to grow, innovate, and inspire others as they take on new challenges in the RoboCup State competition in September, and National competition in October.
