Celebration Spot

Each week we love to celebrate any students who may have achieved something significant during the past week; sporting events, dancing, baptisms, theatre, music achievements, new babies etc. both inside school and outside school.

Please email admin@dcs.tas.edu.au with the details (we would love a photo too!) so we can celebrate together as a community.

School Wide Way Winners

Congratulations to the following students for receiving the DCS School Wide Way Winner awards for the last week of Term 1!

Congratulations Claire!

We congratulate Claire (Yr 5) for her achievement performing in Matilda Jr. with the Encore Theatre Academy as part of the Junior Ensemble. Claire's dedication, confidence and enthusiasm for the stage are wonderful to see, as well as her hard work and commitment travelling to Launceston for rehearsals and for the duration of the performance.

Congratulations Max!

We congratulate Max (Year 5) on being selected to play the role of Tom Barney in the Devonport Choral Society’s upcoming production of Oliver Jr! We wish you every success as you work toward opening night. Performances will be at the Town Hall Theatre, paranaple Arts Centre from the 21st - 29th August.
