Student Wellbeing

Message to Year 12 students and parents
During Term 3 we have many of our students turning 18 which always produces some questions from the students when it comes to alcohol and school rules.
So there is no confusion, I just wanted to highlight some points from our College Guidelines. You can find all this information on page 22 of our 2026 College Guidelines.
Students are NOT permitted to bring alcohol in any form onto the property or in their vehicles.
Students are NOT allowed to consume alcohol in any form whilst they are under the care of the College or are IDENTIFIED as College students. Students guilty of this offence are advised that this will lead to suspension and possible termination of their boarding agreement.
Students are NOT permitted to return to College under the influence of alcohol. Should a student return to the College under the influence of alcohol, their parents will be required to pick them up and take them home. Students guilty of this offence are advised that this will lead to loss of residential privileges.
If students are found with empty alcohol bottles/containers (including in vehicles) it will be assumed that it has been consumed at the College and the same consequence will apply as above.
2027 Student Leaders
In the next couple of weeks, Year 11 students are going to be given the opportunity to nominate for leadership positions for 2027. Voting will take place in August.
Mining Camp
The WA Mining Club has developed a camp for high school students in Years 10 to 12 to get a first-hand look at what the mining industry has to offer. Please see the flyer for more details.
