Regional Athletics Championships

On Tuesday 8 September, our students represented MMCRC at the Regional Athletics Championships, with some outstanding results throughout the day.

Congratulations to our placegetters:

• Maia Whiteside – 2nd Shot Put
• Max Massaro – 2nd Shot Put
• Lochlan Webb – 2nd Long Jump and Triple Jump
• Jayden Seymour – 3rd High Jump
• Eli Bickerton – 2nd Shot Put
• Charlotte Williams – 2nd High Jump
• Harriet White – 2nd 1500m and 3rd 800m
• Aiden Cook – 1st High Jump
• Rachel Denbrok – 1st 1500m, 1st 800m and 2nd 400m
• Leo Johnson – 1st Long Jump

• Boys Under 17 4x100m Relay – 2nd

   

A special congratulations to Rachel, Aiden, Leo and Harriet who have progressed to the SSV State Athletics Championships next term.

It was a fantastic day of competition, with students representing the College exceptionally well across both track and field events. Congratulations to everyone who competed at the regional level, and we wish our State qualifiers all the best for the next stage!
