A Day to Remember with Sea All Dolphin Swims
Our Year 10 Outdoor Education students recently had an unforgettable day exploring the wonders of Port Phillip Bay with Sea All Dolphin Swims. Setting out from the Queenscliff wharf, students were treated to mirror-like water conditions—the bay at its absolute best.
The day consisted of a snorkel around Popes Eye, where the vibrant marine life and playful Australian fur seals stole the show. Students swam among curious seals, experiencing the unique thrill of sharing the water with these agile and inquisitive animals.
We also journeyed out into the bay for one of those true “pinch yourself” moments—swimming with wild dolphins. It was an experience that words can hardly capture, as pods of dolphins glided effortlessly through the crystal-clear water beside us.
The group also explored beneath and through the Portsea Pier, discovering the colourful underwater world that lies just below the surface with close up of the Weedy Sea dragons. Between the laughter, the awe, and the sheer wonder of the day, it was an excursion that will be remembered for years to come.
This was more than just an outdoor education activity—it was a reminder of how lucky we are to have such natural treasures right on our doorstep and an experience that truly created memories to last a lifetime.
