Remembrance Day

Tuesday 11th November, a group of our student leaders represented our school during a Remembrance Day visit to the Arch of Victory. They took time to honour and reflect on the soldiers from Ballarat who tragically lost their lives in the final month of the First World War.

Remembrance Day is a moment for all Australians to pause and acknowledge the courage and sacrifice of those who have served, and those who continue to serve, in defence of our country and our freedoms. It reminds us of the importance of peace and the legacy left by the men and women who never returned home.

Our leaders demonstrated respect and maturity throughout the visit, laying a wreath and speaking to locals in the community about the significance of the day.
