🛌🏻Cebula Boarding

Boarding News
Dear Boarding Parents and Guardians,
Recently, we were fortunate to acquire a blender bike for a few days thanks to an initiative by the City of Armadale. The blender bike is a stationary bike with a blender attached, which is used to create pedal-powered smoothies. It was really well received by the boys to make their own breakfast smoothies with the many ingredients the dining room had each morning.
As part of the Service-Learning Programme, a small group of Year 7s had a short overnight stay on the Bibbulum Track.
The boys were bussed to the aptly named “ Boarding House” campsite near Manjimup and undertook maintenance of the section of the Bibbulum track from the Boarding House campsite to Two Creeks. The simple maintenance activities, included the removal of weeds, trimming back vegetation and clearing obstructions from the track.
On Sunday, August 3, we were joined for Mass and Supper by some of our Cebula day boys and their families in a wonderful opportunity to bring the house together. We will be seeking out additional opportunities in the future for both Boarding and day boys Cebula members to join together.
Congratulations to Riley (Year 12) who won the overall 6km race in the Port Hedland Ship to Shore Run last weekend. The event is based around building active, healthy communities, with various distance options.
Our Year 11 Boarders will soon be commencing the leadership process to select Head Boarder, Deputy Head Boarder and the Cebula Captain for 2026. I thank the boys who have put themselves forward for leadership and look forward to getting to know more about their leadership intentions in the coming weeks.
