 This week, our students and families were blessed to share in a beautifully prepared liturgy led by our Year 3–6 students in the church. It was a wonderful opportunity for our school community to come together in prayer and celebration as we gave thanks to God for the grandparents and special people who play such an important role in the lives of our children. 

We are so grateful for the opportunity to recognise the love, wisdom, care and guidance that these special people provide. Their presence and influence are such a precious gift to our children and our wider school community. 

We will continue our celebrations with a special Father’s Day Mass on Friday 4 September, celebrated by Fr Boniface. This will again be a wonderful opportunity for our community to come together in prayer and give thanks to God for the blessing of our families, fathers and all the special people who support and nurture our children. 

As a Catholic community, we recognise that the love, joy and blessings we experience through our families are gifts of God’s grace. We look forward to gathering together once again to celebrate these wonderful blessings and to give thanks for the people who enrich the lives of our children each day.
