Three Weeks to Go – Pan the Great and Terrible

The countdown is officially on! With just three weeks to go, our dedicated student performers are deep into rehearsals for Pan the Great and Terrible, an original production that showcases the exciting direction of Performing Arts at St Joseph’s College.

This challenging and contemporary work gives our students the opportunity to explore theatre in new and unexpected ways, developing their skills and confidence while experiencing what it takes to bring an ambitious production to life. Alongside innovative and contemporary works, our Performing Arts program continues to offer more traditional, family-friendly productions - creating opportunities for students to explore, create and express themselves while building skills that can take them into the real-world theatre industry and beyond.

And this is not your usual Peter Pan story!

Some stories should never be forgotten.

When an unsuspecting actor is drawn into an impossible world, they discover that Neverland is far darker than the fairy tale they remember. Familiar faces become dangerous strangers, old legends hide terrible secrets, and belief itself may be the greatest power of all.

As children vanish, unlikely heroes rise and an ancient evil sets a final plan into motion, one question remains:

What if Peter Pan was never the hero?

Funny, thrilling, heartbreaking and filled with unforgettable characters, Pan the Great and Terrible is an original fantasy adventure that reimagines one of the world's most beloved stories in ways you will never see coming.
