VM Students Supporting Local Families Through Community Meals
Our Year 11 Vocational Major (VM) Personal Development Skills class is excited to be partnering with the Echuca Neighbourhood House to support local families experiencing hardship.
As part of their studies, students will be planning, costing, preparing and promoting a range of nutritious ready-made meals that can be donated to members of our community who may need a helping hand. Through this project, students will develop valuable skills in teamwork, budgeting, food preparation, communication and community engagement while making a positive difference in the lives of others.
The project highlights the importance of compassion, social responsibility and active citizenship. Students are learning that even small acts of kindness can have a significant impact on the wellbeing of individuals and families within our local community.
We are proud of the enthusiasm our students have shown towards this initiative and look forward to working alongside the Echuca Neighbourhood House to support those in need. We thank the staff and volunteers at the Neighbourhood House for their partnership and for the important work they do every day to strengthen our community.

I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks all the staff and families who donated to our soup drive. This HUGE collection will also be delivered to Echuca Neighbourhood House to support those in need.
