Bullying No Way Week - Small Acts, Big Impact
Bullying No Way Week, 17–21 August, is an opportunity for our College community to reflect on the important role we all play in helping young people feel safe, respected, accepted and connected.
This year's theme, Small Acts, Big Impact, reminds us that creating a culture of kindness and respect doesn't always require grand gestures. The small choices we make each day - the words we use, including others, checking in on someone, standing beside a friend or speaking up when something doesn't feel right - can make a meaningful difference.
Addressing bullying is a shared responsibility. Students, staff, families and the wider community all have a role to play in creating an environment where everyone feels a sense of belonging.
Small acts that can have a BIG impact
- Pause before you speak, text or post
- Choose words and actions that show kindness and respect
- Notice when someone may be feeling left out and include them
- Check in with someone who may need support
- Speak up or seek help when you see something that isn't okay
Remember that you have the power to make things better
Throughout the week, students will engage in conversations and activities that explore how their everyday choices can contribute to a positive and inclusive College culture.
We also encourage families to use Bullying No Way Week as an opportunity to talk with their children about bullying, its impact and how they can safely respond if they experience or witness it.
Some helpful questions to start the conversation might include:
- What do you think bullying looks like?
- Have you ever seen someone being left out or treated unfairly? How did it make you feel?
- What could you do if you saw someone being bullied?
- Who are the trusted adults you could talk to if you or a friend needed help?
How can small acts of kindness make someone feel included?
Most importantly, remind your child that bullying is never okay and encourage them to seek support from a trusted adult if they are concerned about something happening to themselves or someone else.
Thank you to our students for the many small acts of kindness, inclusion and support they demonstrate every day. Together, these small actions create a culture where everyone can feel that they belong.

Student Leadership
It has been very encouraging to see so many of our students applying for leadership positions in 2027. We look forward to the next stage of the process on Monday 24 August where students will present a short speech to all Year 10 and 11 students. Well done to all candidates on your courage and willingness to lead in these areas of school life.
Uniform Updates
Did you know the Uniform Committee consists of students, parents and a variety of staff members from both campuses? The committee meets once per term and acts as an advisory committee to the College Leadership team. Any changes to uniform are presented to the committee for consideration and how these changes may impact on students, families and our supplier.
School rugby jumpers are currently green and white for Years 7-10 students and green and gold for Years 11-12 students.
We will be transitioning in 2027 to the green and gold jumper for all students at the Brigidine campus (Years 10-12) and continue the green and white jumper for Kildare campus (Years 7-9).
When purchasing the green and gold jumper, students are required to have their first name embroidered on the front of the jumper. When entering Year 11, students may have the VCE/VM embroidered onto their jumper.
This transition is currently taking place, however we ask that our current Year 9 students transition to the Brigidine campus in 2027 with the green and gold jumper.
Our Year 7 cohort has transitioned into the new school polo shirt in 2026. We look forward to all students having the option to wear the new school polo shirt in 2027. Students with the current school polo shirt will still be able to wear their current polo shirt in 2027 as we phase out this product.
