Sporting Achievements
BNPS has had another successful year with many sporting achievements.
Throughout the year we have every year 5 and year 6 student involved in a sporting team where they represent BNPS against other schools. It is a great achievement if a team wins our District and this year, we have had the following teams WIN our District and then progress on to the Division finals.

Senior Girls Football Southern Metropolitan Regional Championships
Our senior girls football team put on a fantastic performance at the Regional Championships While they narrowly missed out on the Grand Final, their teamwork was commendable, and they should be proud of their efforts.
Senior Boys STATE Football Triumph
The senior boys football team displayed exceptional skills at the Southern Metropolitan Regional Championships, securing victory and advancing to the State tournament on Wednesday, 16 August. The Boys Football team finished 2nd in the State.
Softball Team
Our softball team competed in the Softball Division Competition at Cheltenham Baseball Club finishing in 5th place.
Netball Team
The girls netball team played in the Division finals at Springers to lose in Grand Final by 1 goal.
Individual Achievements
State Swim Championships MSAC
CONGRATULATIONS to our 10-year-old boys freestyle swim team who finished FOURTH in the state!
A fantastic effort and hard swim but what an experience for them all.
Congratulations to Billy C, Charlie D, Lukas K and Lachie B. A great group of boys who are super competitive.
District Cross Country
The BNPS team were the District champions this year with Charlie Callow and Issy Doherty our team captains accepting the sport cup.
Regional Cross Country Hastings Foreshore
We had 66 runners who competed in the District Cross Country event. Every runner produced their best on the day with 14 students finishing in the top 10 of their age group and everyone else contributing points towards our school.
Great running from Isabella D – Year 6 who finished 14th overall out of a field of 65 just missing out on the next level.
State Cross Country – Yarra Glen Racecourse
The State XC championship were held Thursday 13 July out at the Yarra Glen race track.
Congratulations to Xavier W who finished 2nd overall in the multi class division and Sophie T (year 4 ) & Charlie C (year 6) both finished mid field in their age group events.
District Athletics
The BNPS Athletics team finished in 2nd place overall after winning the previous year.
Divisional Athletics
17 students competed at Divisional level in the Athletics competition at Duncan McKinnon.
Regional Athletics
5 girls headed off to the Regional Athletics Championships at Casey Fields in Cranbourne.
