Employment Law 101 – delivered by Northern Community Legal Centre
Starting your first job can be exciting, but do you know your rights in the workplace? Join us for a practical session designed specifically for young people. An employment lawyer will break down pay rates, workplace rights and responsibilities, casual and part-time employment, discrimination and harassment, workplace safety, and what to do if something goes wrong at work.
The session will run on Thursday 15 October during period 5 in the Library. Students have been invited to attend from years 9, 10 & 11.
