Welcome Back, Defence Families – Term 4
Welcome back to the final term of the year! I hope you all enjoyed the school holidays and had some time to relax and recharge.
Our first week back is about giving students time to settle into their classes and routines. Defence Club will commence in Week 2, and I’m looking forward to bringing everyone together for another term of activities, friendship and support.
If you have any concerns or issues you would like to raise, please don’t hesitate to reach out. I’m here to support both students and families.
Posting orders are coming in quickly, and I understand this can bring a mix of excitement and uncertainty. If you need guidance on schools at your next posting location, please get in touch so I can help you explore options and transition support.
If your child is experiencing anxiety about an upcoming move or other changes, I can work with them through a structured, individual support program to help them feel more prepared and confident.
If you haven’t yet notified me or the school of posting orders or a change in circumstances, please do so as soon as possible. Early notice helps us work alongside your family and support your child through the transition.
My workdays and hours are:
- Tuesday: 8:30 am–4:30 pm
- Wednesday: 8:30 am–12:30 pm
- Thursday: 8:30 am–4:30 pm
You can find me in the Wellbeing Hub/Defence office during these hours.
I look forward to sharing a positive and enjoyable final term with our Defence students and families.
