Junior School Update

Dear Families,

Hello and a warm welcome back to Term 3. Despite the wet and wild weather, it was lovely to see all our students return last week with big smiles on their faces. We have an incursion on Friday of week 3, ‘Responsible Pet Ownership’. The students will learn about responsible dog ownership, dog safety, and the human-animal bond. These programs aim to improve animal welfare and community safety by promoting positive interactions between people and dogs. Week 4 is set to be very busy with school photos and the Athletic Carnivals for Years F-4 on the Wednesday and Years 5-12 on the Thursday. The last thing I wanted to mention is the Book Parade. It is in week 7. Some families love it and some families dread it. If you wanted to discuss a book theme or character with your child/ren, now could be a good time! The official theme this year is 'Book an Adventure'.

A Special Welcome to Our New Families

Starting a new chapter can feel like a big step, and we hope our school quickly feels like a second home. Welcome to Reyanshi and her family, as well as Isaac and his family!

Mrs Fiona Clark,

Head of Junior School

Junior School Assembly

It was a fantastic turnout for our Junior School Assembly on 28 July, with many parents and friends joining us to celebrate the start of Term 3.

Mr Willett warmly welcomed everyone back for Semester 2, sharing his appreciation for the way our Junior students have returned to school with enthusiasm and pride—particularly in how well they have been wearing their uniforms.

Mrs Clark also addressed the assembly, acknowledging how smoothly students have settled back into the school routine. She described Term 3 as the "premiership quarter", drawing on the sporting analogy to highlight how this part of the year is where strong habits and solid foundations come together to drive real progress. She encouraged all students to take ownership of their learning and make the most of the opportunities ahead.

A highlight of the assembly was the presentation of our much-anticipated Shining Star Awards. These awards recognise students who demonstrate consistent effort, integrity and a strong sense of community.
