Parents & Friends

Each year level has one or two Parent Representatives who help strengthen social connections and build a welcoming, inclusive school community.

Parent Representatives support families to feel connected and informed by:

• Liaising with the school about upcoming events and initiatives.
• Organising social events throughout the year, such as BBQs, family gatherings, dinners, or after-school catch-ups.
• Welcoming and supporting new families to the year level.
• Assisting teachers with opportunities for parent involvement across the school, including parent helpers, events and community projects.

Our Parent Representatives for 2026 are:

Prep: Marthe Fitzgerald (Isla and Leon)

Year 1/2:  Julianne Jeon (Alannah) and Medhi Behrouz Vaziri (Toranj)

Year 3/4: Kayley Eldred (Maddy and Emily) and Katie Coy (Lizzy and Eliza)

Year 5/6: Sasha Boon (Biz)

The remaining community events for Term 2 are:

• second hand uniform shop (2-3 times a term)
• canteen (ongoing) 
• book fair.

Second Hand Uniform Shop

We warmly welcome donations of pre-loved uniform pieces. All items must be freshly washed and in good, wearable condition (no holes, stains, or excessive wear). At this stage, we are especially seeking winter items. Donations of coat hangers and paper bags would also be greatly appreciated.

Book Fair volunteers

The Lamont Book Fair is coming to Donvale Primary School, and we are seeking parent volunteers to assist during the event.

We would love some help in the mornings and afternoons, from 16-19 June.

Volunteers will help students with selecting books, purchasing items, and distributing online orders to classrooms.

Your support is greatly appreciated and helps make this event a success for our students.
