Paul Dillon Presentation

Year 11 attended the Paul Dillon presentation this Tuesday, and the feedback from students and staff has been extremely positive. Paul’s session on drugs, alcohol, decision‑making and looking after your mates was practical, engaging and highly relevant for senior students.

Families who would like ongoing tips and resources can follow him on Instagram at @dillonpauldarta

Students were also reminded about the Emergency+ app, a free tool developed by Australia’s emergency services to help callers provide accurate location information in an emergency. It’s a simple but powerful safety resource for all young people.

Athletics Carnival

A huge congratulations to all Year 11 students who participated in the Athletics Carnival. Teacher feedback highlighted your encouragement, enthusiasm and support for one another throughout the day.

However, attendance from Year 11 was significantly lower than expected. Whole‑school events like the carnival are important community days and are compulsory. They help build school spirit, connection and a sense of belonging. We encourage all students to prioritise attendance at these events moving forward.

A Message from Abby and Kara

“We were lucky enough to be given the opportunity to visit La Salle Bankstown in Week 4 for their Founder's Day celebration and Mass. All money raised from Founders Day goes toward supporting less fortunate schools.

It was a wonderful opportunity to see a larger school living out the Lasallian values. The Year 12 leadership team were excellent role models through their inclusive attitude and the way they ensured all guests felt welcomed into their school community.

La Salle Bankstown has inspired us to continue living out the Lasallian values and to welcome everyone.”
