Year 12 Reflection Day - Friday, 29 May

Our Year 12 Final Reflection Day is coming up this Friday, offering students a joyful and much needed pause before their assessment block begins. The day will be a chance for the cohort to relax, reconnect, and enjoy each other’s company through music, dance, and shared celebration. In keeping with our St Aloysius spirit, the focus will be on valuing the contribution of every student and recognising the unique gifts each person brings to our community. We hope this time together creates great memories, strengthens friendships, and gives our Year 12 students a moment to breathe, laugh, and feel supported as they prepare for the busy weeks ahead.

Pope Leo’s Encyclical Letter - Magnifica Humanitas on Safeguarding the Human Person in the Time of Artificial Intelligence

The world in which we live is rapidly changing, and Pope Leo is calling us to ask one key question about what is unfolding: What are we building?

“Schools are not called to follow the pace of the digital world, but to offer that which the digital sphere by itself cannot provide, namely a shared time for learning and developing trustworthy relationships.” (MH, 147)
