Sydney Cross Country Championships
Good luck to all our students competing at the Cross Country Championships on Wednesday. We have a fantastic representation of students across all age groups so we wish these students the best of luck as they tackle the course and the best runners within SCS.
St Aloysius Athletics Carnival
The athletics carnival was held at Sylvania Athletics Field and with great enthusiasm shown by all students, competition and participation was at an all time high.
Unfortunately with the rain, the high jump event had to be cancelled due to how wet and slippery the take off zone was, so for those students who didn’t get to compete in high jump, there will be further communication regarding this event via an EOI or an early morning competition.
Due to a few events not being finalised, the Age Champion pointscore is still ongoing and this will be communicated in due time.
For those students who have qualified for the Conference Athletics Championships, this will be held in Term 3, Wednesday, 19 August at Homebush.
The House Pointscore is extremely close and may come down to the final couple of events not contested due to the rain.

Table Tennis
A small group of students recently competed at Conference Table Tennis Championships where they played in a round robin format at Hurstville Aquatic Centre. Congratulations to the following students for being super competitive and just missing the semi finals.

- Intermediate Boys - James Norton, Jesse Bohlsen and Flynn Cordingley
- Intermediate Boys - Kingston McHugh, Marc Edwards and Noah Davies
