Leader of Year 7 Wellbeing
Ms Jennifer Allan
Before we look ahead to the big adventure this week, I want to give a massive shout-out to our incredible Year 7 students for their outstanding display of spirit at the recent Athletics Carnival!
It was absolutely wonderful to see everyone having a go, stepping out of their comfort zones, and cheering on their peers. Whether achieving a personal best on the track or jumping into a sand-pit just to win points for their house, the camaraderie and encouragement on display were next-level. You've set a fantastic standard for the rest of the year, Year 7!
The excitement in the playground has been palpable this week as the bags are packed and the countdown hits zero. Year 7 Camp is officially here! While we are all collectively crossing our fingers, toes, and everything else for clear skies and absolutely no rain, we know that a few clouds won't dampen our spirits. We are determined to have an absolute blast no matter what the weather throws at us. This camp is a milestone experience, and we are looking forward to seeing our students:
Make New Friends: Stepping outside of regular friendship circles and bonding with peers they might not usually sit with in class.
Face New Challenges: Whether it's tackling a high activity, surviving without devices, or simply mastering the art of orienteering, growth happens when we push our boundaries.
Build Lifelong Memories: The shared laughs, campfire stories, and team triumphs will be talked about for years to come.
Let’s bring that same incredible energy from the Athletics Carnival straight into the great outdoors. Have an amazing time, Year 7!
