NAIDOC

On Thursday 30th July, we will be celebrating NAIDOC, an event which is always a highlight of the school year and such a great way to bring our community together for a day of valuable learning, acknowledgment and fun. NAIDOC Week 2026 ran nationally from July 5 to July 12 with the theme "50 Years of Deadly", celebrating the resilience, excellence, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities over five decades of the NAIDOC movement.

The day will start with a breakfast of toasties provided by TPS staff. The day's activities will begin with a smoking ceremony performed by an elder from the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Cultural Heritage Aboriginal Corporation followed by a rotation of activities. The day will finish with a community barbeque. A big thanks to Kim Read for her thorough organisation of the day.

Building works update

The building site is a constant hive of activity with work on schedule for completion in November. Brickwork and external cladding to the main building is nearing completion and with the scaffolding being removed in the next two weeks, we will have a clearer view of the new building. The removal of the scaffolding is a significant milestone for the builders and will allow the commencement of landscaping works around this building.

Parent/Carer + Teacher Interviews

These will be held on Tuesday 4 August and Thursday 6 Aug, from 2:30 to 5:10 pm. You will be able to book a time with your child's teacher from 9am on Tuesday 28 July, 2026.

These meetings are an opportunity for parents and carers to discuss academic, social and emotional progress of their child with their teacher and to set goals for Semester 2. 

If you would like to organise a phone conversation instead of a face-to-face meeting, please book a spot on our system, but contact your child’s teacher directly ahead of time to request a phone conversation.
