Grade 1 & 2

September
Swimming
It has been a great two weeks of swimming. All the students have done an amazing job managing the bus, bringing their swimming gear, undressing and organising their school uniforms, swimming, getting dressed and packing up all their wet clothing, getting back on the bus and then back to school. Students have developed confidence in the water and learnt some life saving skills.
Books to Life
We had our annual Books to Life program this week. Each year a short listed book is chosen and the company perform a play based on the book. This years book "Being Indy" by Zoe Gaetjens is a beautiful book about trying to fit in and discovering the true worth of being yourself. All students from Prep to Grade 6 were mesmorised by the actor and were eager to volunteer to help act out parts of the story.

Book week. I won the parade and it was a nice certificate. I dressed up as Cinderella. It was a very pretty costume.
The school disco was the best disco ever because I got to go with Rhilee. On athletics day it was so so so much fun because I got to have my pajama pants on but people kept thinking that I was in the blue color.
