Australian Defence Force Careers Visit

On Wednesday 19 August, students in Years 9–12 attended a presentation from Leading Seaman Jack Eastwood of the Royal Australian Navy and Corporal Fletcher Parr of the Royal Australian Air Force.

Students learned about the more than 300 career opportunities available within the Australian Defence Force. These range from skilled trades to professional roles, with a variety of entry pathways available to suit different qualifications, interests and career goals.

The presenters also outlined the many benefits of joining the ADF, including opportunities for travel, participation in sport, ongoing education and training, career development and a range of other personal and professional benefits.

We thank Leading Seaman Eastwood and Corporal Parr for visiting the College and providing our students with valuable information about career pathways within the Australian Defence Force.
