Winter Concert
Congratulations to all our music students who performed at a sold out Winter Concert yesterday. All four bands are playing great music and it was a wonderful night to celebrate their work.
Well done in particular for our amazing Training Band and their first ever performance.
Frankston Susono Friendship Association
Congratulations also to Ms Kinnear and our Clarinet Choir for their performance for the Frankston Susono Friendship Association at the Frankston Football Club recently.
Students presented a really enjoyable program with everything from jazz to Mozart.
Special thank you also to Angus Kite (Year 10), Archie Frew (Year 10), Amy Ridgway (Year 10) and Mr Sharp for all the work they did over the weekend helping the live music stage run smoothly for the Japanese Festival held at Frankston High School.
Coming Up...
Victorian Schools Music Festival
Term 3 is always a busy time in the Music department and we wish good luck to our Senior and Intermediate Bands who are preparing for performances in the upcoming Victorian Schools Music Festival.
Small Groups Concert
Our next concert is the Small Groups Concert which features our Choir, Stage Bands and different instrumental groups. This concert will be on Thursday 18 September and is always a great night to see some of the different things our students are doing. Put it in your diary and I will be sending out more information for tickets soon.
