Japanese Language Teachers' Association of Victoria (JLTAV) Events Poster Competition

Well done to Nicole Li (in Year 10) for winning for JLTAV Events Poster Competition 2025!

Students in Ms Mukaiyamas' Japanese class were encouraged to be creative and to design a cover which reflects the Japanese language or Japanese culture. This was broad to enable students to be creative. Her poster became the front cover of Year 12 Morning Booklet - Online Exam Preparatory Session.

Congratulations Nicole! It is amazing to see your drawing on the booklet!

Principals’ Day | Friday 1 August

I would like to sincerely acknowledge and thank our Principal Team for the outstanding dedication, expertise and care they bring to our school every day. Their leadership makes a profound difference to our students, staff and community, and I deeply value the way they work together with such care and commitment. It is both a privilege and a pleasure to work alongside such a dynamic and supportive team.

2025 Parent/Caregiver/Guardian Opinion Survey

Our school is conducting the annual Parent / Caregiver / Guardian Opinion Survey offered by the Department of Education and is seeking your feedback. The survey is designed to assist schools in gaining an understanding of families’ perceptions of school climate, student behaviour, and student engagement. The survey is optional, but we encourage and appreciate your participation.

Our school will use the survey results to assist in identifying areas for improvement and professional development needs in the school, to target school planning and improvement strategies.

The Opinion Survey will be open online from Monday 18 August to Friday 19 September 2025. Parents/Caregivers/Guardians have been randomly selected to participate in this year’s survey.

The survey will be conducted online, only takes 20 minutes to complete, and can be accessed at any convenient time on desktop computers, laptops, tablets or smartphones.

The online survey will be available in English and 10 other languages including Arabic, Greek, Hakha Chin, Hindi, Japanese, Punjabi, Simplified Chinese, Somali, Turkish, and Vietnamese. Resources are also available in additional languages to assist parents / caregivers / guardians who speak a language other than English at home. Please contact the school for survey guides in your language.
