Mission & Faith Life

Crazy Sock Day

Thank you to all of our students and staff who wore crazy socks on Friday this week to raise awareness of people living in poverty around the world and to foster a sense of solidarity and social responsibility to our global community. Your gold coin donations will make a big difference in the lives of others. Thank you for your love in action!

Primary Camino

Our primary students participated once again in The Salvado Way Primary Camino around the College grounds, where they had time to retreat from the business of the day and spend time walking on a spiritual journey of reflection, prayer and reconnection to God, self, others and creation.

Bishop Rosendo Salvado often needed to travel between Subiaco and New Norcia, a journey of seven days by foot, to deliver supplies to support the mission established in New Norcia. Today, many people walk Salvado’s same path, called the Camino Salvado, as a pilgrimage – a spiritual journey to a sacred place.

On this day, students in Year 1 to Year 10 are invited to bring in 5c, 10c, 20c, 50c, $1 and $2 coins to buy items from the stalls or play games.

Let us pray that those who are struggling with suicidal thoughts might find the support, care, and love they need in their community, and be open to the beauty of life.
