Year 7 to Year 9
Each week brings new opportunities to celebrate the vibrant engagement we share with our community, especially with our young people. From classroom learning to co-curricular activities, the energy and enthusiasm across our College is truly inspiring.
Through the SEQTA Engage and Learn platforms, families can explore the wide range of activities available to students. These platforms showcase the many ways school life can be both enriching and enjoyable.
Recent highlights include the Arts, Design and Technology Showcase held on Friday afternoon, the upcoming Dags Production this weekend, and the ongoing Girls AFL, Volleyball and Homework Clubs offered after school each week. These programs reflect the diverse interests and talents of our students.
We are also continuing interviews with prospective families for 2026 enrolments, as well as for Year 7 in 2027. It has been a pleasure meeting new families, and this was beautifully reflected during the Year 7 2026 Parent Information Evening held on Wednesday. The evening featured inspiring speakers, including Mrs Rebecca Furfarro, who spoke about the Faith, Life and Mission of our College. A standout moment was the presentation by Year 7 students Aly Munn and Ekam Singh, who shared “A Day in the Life of a Year 7 Student” alongside our dedicated Year 7 Coordinator, Ms Shannon MacDonald. The event was very well attended, and we look forward to welcoming Year 6 students on Thursday, 4 December 2025, for their Year 7 Orientation Day.
As the term progresses and the weeks tick by, we encourage students to focus on their studies and aim to improve upon their Mid-Year Reports. This requires commitment, support from home, and effective use of learning tools. All Secondary students have access to excellent resources such as Atomi and ClickView, which can support their revision and learning.
Warm regards,
Mr Brendan McGrath
Head of Middle School (Year 7 to Year 9)
