Grade 5/6

Grade 5/6 students have continued with their class text and narrative writing, focusing on complex sentences containing independent and dependent clauses with subordination conjunctions to join them.

In Maths, students have continued working on tenths, hundredths and thousandths, connecting them and other fractions with decimals, and ordering both.

In Humanities, students have been learning about climate change and how pollution is affecting it, learning ways they can combat climate change by doing simple things at home and the community.
