Welcome to a jam packed Term 4; 11 weeks and, perhaps our busiest term from a learning and teaching perspective.

Year 11 & 12 Exam News

Year 11 Exams & Indicative VCE Grades

The Year 11 Exam Schedule will be released to students next week following an assembly in Explore.

This year we are introducing an Indicative Grade for all year 11 VCE students, based on their performance in Unit 1 and 2, and their final performance on the exam. This will mirror what happens in the Year 12 VCAA exams.

At the end of the year, you will have your SAC grades, Exam percentage and an overall Indicative Grade from UG - A+. This will give a clear guide about where you can expect to be with your performance in 2027 based on your performance in 2026 in that subject.

It is important to note that the students’ exams performance has a large impact on the final results in VCE and in most subjects contributes between 50-60% of the Study score. If you would like to know more about the Year 12 assessments in unit 3 and 4 in specific subjects, please find all the study designs HERE.

Year 12 Exams

Several of our students have already started their exams, as the performance exams are conducted early, but for the majority of students their exams start in week 4.

The largest VCE English Exam starts Tuesday 27th October at 9 am and between 45,000 and 47,000 Victorian students will complete this exam with 3 hours of writing time.

All students must arrive for all their exams 30 mins prior to the start time to check in with a teacher to settle student, check equipment ensure they have what they need and find their correct seat location.

It is a very important time for our VCE students, and we wish them the very best as they embark on what will be a memorable and consequential time over coming weeks.
