Term 4 Ensemble Changes

At the start of Term 4 we begin rehearsing our 2027 ensembles, so many of our students will be changing to new ensembles. This is a really crucial and exciting part of students' learning as it continues to challenge them, offers them new experiences, and gives them a head start for next year.

Over the holidays these changes were made and are now reflected on Compass timetables.

If you believe there is a mistake, i.e., you are in the wrong ensembles, or are not in any ensembles at all please contact me ASAP.

If the changes to ensembles cause any issues with families (transportation, time commitments etc.) please contact me to discuss options and solutions.

Farewell Year 12s

We encourage our students to continue playing their instrument after high school, whether studying music or not. Playing music is a wonderful life-long skill that has many benefits incuding wellbeing, social and physical/brain.

Students who do not continue learning Music in a tertiary setting can join a local community band. Please speak to me about possible opportunities.

In the meantime, we wish all our Year 12 students well with their upcoming exams and future endeavours. Any Year 12 students who would like to play in ensembles during Term 4 are welcome to attend.
