🌅 ANZAC Day Dawn Service BBQ 🌅
Last Friday, on the 25th of April, the Interactors rose bright and early to assist local Rotary clubs in preparing a gold coin donation breakfast at the ANZAC Day Dawn Service. With the support of the FHS LEAD class, we proudly helped raise $1,950 for the Frankston RSL, an organisation dedicated to supporting our local veterans. It was a beautiful morning and an honour to witness such a moving and respectful service.
💙 Interact Hygiene Drive for the ASRC 💙
We are excited to announce that over the next two weeks, Interact is running a Hygiene Drive to collect essential items for the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre (ASRC)!
At the ASRC’s request, we are collecting toothbrushes, toothpaste, and deodorant—some of their most needed supplies.
Collection runs from Monday 5 May to Friday 16 May, with drop-off boxes available at both the General Office and Senior Office.
✨ How you can help: Next time you're out shopping this weekend, consider picking up an extra toothbrush, tube of toothpaste, or stick of deodorant—or if you have some new, unopened items at home, we'd love for you to donate them! All contributions are greatly appreciated and make a real difference in the lives of people seeking support. Thank you for your generosity and support! 💙🪥🫧
🏃♂️ Run for the Sun ☀️
The Interactors have been hard at work alongside other leadership groups at Frankston High School to launch the Solar Schools Initiative—a project aimed at installing solar panels on the roof of our Performing Arts Theatre. As part of this mission, we’ll be helping run SSI’s “Run for the Sun” Week, taking place in Week 7 of this term!
Our goal is to get at least 100 students and staff involved and to raise a starting target of $2,000 to help make Frankston High School the first fully solar-powered public school in Australia. 🌱
Keep an eye out for more updates in the coming weeks—we can’t wait to see you there supporting a brighter, greener future!
