Year 12 ATAR Results
Last Thursday, December 12 was a significant milestone for our VCE students as they received their subject scores and ATAR (Australian Tertiary Admission Rank).
We were delighted to welcome our Year 12 students for a morning tea to celebrate this occasion. The atmosphere was filled with excitement and positive energy, and it was heart-warming for the staff to share in their achievements. This year's results are among the best the College has seen in quite some time, setting a strong precedent for next year's VCE students.
Congratulations to our graduating class 2024 on all you have achieved in and out of the classroom. You have been a wonderful cohort of students who have set an excellent example for other year levels.
Orion Night
One of the most anticipated events on our school calendar is Orion Night, our annual presentation evening. This event provides a wonderful opportunity to celebrate the remarkable achievements of our students in their studies and their contributions to the school and community.
Our Performing Arts program was particularly vibrant this year, featuring four exceptional musical performances—special thanks to Year 7 student Fhaye Mazo for her captivating solo performance. Trin Ward, Year 10 and her band entertained us with an Amy Winehouse classic, while Adam Du, Year 9, again dazzled us with his piano skills. The night ended with an energetic rock performance by Aaron, Wesley, Josh Davies, and Mr Jacob Long, leaving everyone exhilarated.
Keeping it in the family!
In a lovely twist of family support, Sebastian Bennett, a Year 12 student, has been working part-time at Fat Chef Pizza in Ferntree Gully.
Demonstrating his big brotherly care, he helped his sister Harper Bennett Year 8, secure a casual job there as well. We wish Harper all the best in her new employment opportunity with Sebastian as her role model.
