School Saving Bonus (SSB) $400 One-off Payment

The Victorian Government is making life a little bit easier for families by providing a one-off $400 School Saving Bonus. This support will help cover the cost of school uniforms, textbooks, and school activities like camps, excursions and sports.

 

An email was sent recently to parents/carers with a saving Bonus code.  If you cannot locate the email, check your spam or junk folder. If you have not yet received your School Saving Bonus code via email, please contact the Department of Education by emailing school.saving.bonus@education.vic.gov.au.

 

If you choose to utilise part or all of their SSB for 2025 camps and excursions the following steps must be followed

  1. Log onto SSB parent portal and allocate the amount you wish to use for the Camp/Excursions for 2025 to School Activities
  2.  Email the school scoresby.sc@education.vic.gov.au  to advise of the amount you wish to utilise towards the Camp/Excursion for 2025.  Once your transaction from the parent SSB portal has imported into the schools accounting system (this process can take 2-3 days) the General Office will process your SSB amount against the Camp/Excursion and adjust the cost for your student in the compass event accordingly.
  3. Parents/Carers are then required to consent and pay any balance if required in compass
  4. Please email Scoresby.sc@education.vic.gov.au with the amount allocated to the event, and the child you have applied the amount to.
