Mental Health & Wellbeing

IS YOUR CHILD READY TO LEARN?
This term's Mental Health and Wellbeing focus is being ready to learn when arriving at school. There are 3 main contributors to a child's success and wellbeing at school... sleep, breakfast and arriving on time. They matter!
We would love to see each child arriving at school refreshed, nourished and present before the bell at 9am. We understand unexpected circumstances can arise, but we would appreciate families' efforts to make these things happen. If breakfast is difficult to fit in before leaving home swing by Breakfast Club at 8.45am so that your child has time to eat before the music plays.
WELLBEING WEDNESDAY CLUBS
We have just completed our first rotation of Clubs after lunch. Students were in small multi-aged groups according to their choice of which activity they would like to participate in.
Clubs to choose from were:
Lego Masters
Computer Coding
Book Club
Art Club
Science Experiements
Outdoor Maintenance Crew
Board Games.
Students then had the opportunity to showcase what they had created, built, experimented with, read, learnt and fixed during our Open Afternoon in Education Week. Many thanks to those who were able to make it and see what great things are happening.
Students will get the opportunity to belong to a different club for the next 5 weeks.
