SQUASH:

Our Grade 5 /6 students have walked to Mulgrave Country Club each Thursday to learn how to play Squash - students are loving learning a new game, and here is talk of some students wanting to go and play squash with their parents at MCC on the weekend!

( Grade 3/4 students will begin learning Squash in early June).

KABOOM Sport: All our students loved our Kaboom Sports morning on our new courts!  Students were all in multi age groups and had lots of fun trying new activities.

STOMP:

At the end of the Term all our students will be performing their favourite STOMP routines - each Monday classes spend an hour learning different dance routines with our instructor from STOMP: later in the term the students will choose their 2 favourite dances to perform for our community!

MOTHERS DAY afternoon:

We had a pampering afternoon to celebrate our mums and special people in our lives;

Nails were painted, massages given, cupcakes decorated and eaten, photos taken and crowns made with lots of glitter!

Thanks to all our special people for your support.

OUR COW:

Meet MILKY MOO - our cow in the meadow!!!

Students have been learning all about the Dairy industry and how important it is.

We  have had our milkshake day and students turned milk into cream - (magically)  -there are many other dairy related activities to come.

Our Grade 6 students will paint her as their Tribute legacy project.

WELLBEING WEDNESDAY CLUBS:

Our Wellbeing Wednesday lunch time activities have been very popular. We have now added multi age our Clubs every Wednesday afternoon - each staff member runs a club - students remain in one club for 5 weeks and we have just had a very successful EXPO where students highlighted their achivements over the past 5 weeks.

I have loved running the Science Experiment Club - we have worked our magic with milk, food dye and dishwashing liquid and watch the chemical reactions, we have also had fun creating coloured volcanoes which erupt!

North East Region Performance

 - Mandy has once again been amazing - working with 3 of our senior students who became part of a big primary school choir performing at Hamer Hall - I was lucky enough to be in the second row watching the performance - it was incredible.

Our students are so lucky to have all these fabulous opportunities.

Please flick thorugh all the pages of our newsletter for many more photos and stories.
