Amplify Creative Hub
We’re excited to share that Greater Shepparton City Council, through its Amplify Youth Committee, is launching the Amplify Creative Hub — a free, youth-led program for young people aged 12 to 25 interested in music, arts and creative skill development.
We would love your support in helping spread the word through your networks, newsletters and social media.

The first session will focus on music, with opportunities for young people to explore DJing, music industry toolkit, karaoke and fun, low-key activities led by other young people. No experience is required.
The program will run monthly (third Saturday of each month) from June to November, providing a safe and inclusive space for young people to connect, collaborate, build skills and explore creative pathways.
Amplify Creative Hub is delivered by Council’s Amplify Youth Committee, with support from Goulburn Valley Libraries and the Victorian Government.
GSSC Hosts ESport Day
Greater Shepparton Secondary College, in partnership with InTheZone Gaming and Lan-Slide, is excited to be hosting our eSports Day 2026 on Saturday 20th June — and we’d love to invite students from your school to attend.
This is a full-day gaming event designed to provide students with a fun, social, and competitive experience while connecting with others across the region.

From Diagnosis to OAM
On Wednesday 17th June 2026, renowned Autistic Self Advocate Daniel Giles O.A.M. (Order of Australia Medal) and his father Daryl Giles will be presenting “From Diagnosis to O.A.M. – A Personal Autism Journey Plus a Siblings Perspective” in Kalkallo.
We’ll be presenting a morning session from 9:30am until 12:30pm.
SPECIAL GUEST PRESENTER: Leash Purcell^ - Leash is Daniel’s sister who presents the valuable siblings insight into how they see their sibling who is Autistic from the aspects of home life, attending the same school and the challenges that presents for a sibling as well as from her perspective as a qualified educator (Masters Degree) who sees both the educators and the families understanding of the journey.
Our presentation is highly regarded and we believe, will be of special interest to:
- Parents of Autistic children
- Carers of Autistic people
- Autistic people
- Family Members
- Educators working with Autistic students
- Health Care Professionals

Then get along to the Deakin Reserve, Shepparton for a football based holiday program.
THE PROGRAM WILL RUN ON THURSDAY 2ND JULY & FRIDAY 3RD JULY
8.30am to 4.30pmThe program is applicable to ages ranging from 5 to 14.
Separate programs will run for 5 – 10 year olds and 11 – 14 year olds
WE ENCOURAGE BOTH BOYS AND GIRLS TO BE INVOLVED.
All participants will receive a football!The program will include various Australian Rules Football skill based clinics, healthy lifestyle and nutrition components and structured round-robin football matches, with an emphasis on fun!
Morning and afternoon snacks as well as lunch will be provided.
Payment can be made on the day (cash or EFT)
