Raglan Ride

The end of 5/6 Bike Ed, ends with a bang! Last Thursday (30+degrees with a tricky wind) saw our 5/6 students, teachers and a very few brave parents, take part in our annual Raglan Ride. This journey is 35km+! 

Our students did an incredible job, working together to achieve success, no matter how big or small the win was. This was either making it up a small gradient, to riding 7kms non stop or tackling Music Gully Hill or the ever non forgiving "Heart Break Hill" out of Raglan. The tremendous support showed by all students to cheer or encourage their peers was outstanding, especially when there were a couple of stacks off the bike, they got back on and powered through, as teachers, this makes us so proud that our student are demonstrating one of our MOST important values...Resilience. This is what is needed to complete this and all students who completed, you have achieved ultimate resilience! Well done!!!!

A huge thank you to ALL parents who either rode, cooked our BBQ or helped in support cars, days like these would be impossible to run without your help. Another big thank you to Andrea Patterson for being our ever reliable safety car.

Bizarre Bazaar! 

Wednesday 17th December

We invite all families and students to our Grand Bizarre Market. Our market will run from 10am until 11am. 

Pending weather, we will hold this outside the 5/6 classrooms near the drama centre. If this changes, we will notify families via Xuno. At the market, students will be selling their items, they will range from 50cents to $2. All proceeds that are raised will be donated to the Royal Children's Hospital. 

We will send out another reminder early next week!
