Community grants and sponsors

As the year comes to a close, we wanted to thank all of the local organisations that have provided support to our school. Without their support, there are many programs that wouldn't be able to run, resources we wouldn't be able to buy, and building projects we wouldn't be able to complete. We strongly encourage our community to support these organisations that have given so generously to support our school.
Over the last 12 months, Beaufort Community Bank has given our school over $40,000 in grants. These grants have helped us purchase new laptops for our Year 5/6 students and the Ninja Warrior Course that will be installed early next year.
Over the last 12 months, Stockyard Hill Wind Farm has given our school over $40,000 in grants. These grants have helped us to install new garden beds and seats near the basketball court, plant new plants in our school, fund the Ninja Warrior Course that will be installed early next year, and purchase new furniture and books for the library (watch this space in 2026 for these upgrades).
Waubra Wind Farm
Waubra Wind Farm has given our school over $3000 in grants. These grants have helped us to purchase new basketball and football tops for interschool sport, and mentor texts to to help students learn how to read and write.
Variety: The Children's Charity has provided our school with 10 C-Pen Scanning Reader Pens. These pens provide extra assistance to students who may have difficulty reading or need help with reading more challenging texts.
Schools Plus has given our school a grant of $30,000 per year over three years. This grant is helping us to embed trauma-informed practices in the school by funding professional learning from Berry Street Educational Model and coaching for staff to implement these approaches.
Beaufort and District Op Shop is one of our most consistent sponsors. Almost every camp and excursion is subsidised by the op shop, significantly reducing the cost of these events for families.
Beaufort IGA is another frequent supporter of our school. They provide regular donations of goods for events like BBQs, camps and brekky club. They also support us through their Community Chest campaign.
Over the last two years, Central Highlands Water has donated a "Choose Tap" drinking fountain to the Goldfields Recreation Reserve and to Beaufort Primary School. These have both been valuable assets to our community. They have also donated drink bottles to our students to encourage the use of reusable water bottles instead of single use ones.
The Pyrenees Shire Council generously provided our school with a grant to install the "Choose Tap" drinking fountain near the basketball courts.
Beaufort Apex Club regularly supports our school in different ways. You'll recognise their BBQ from major school functions. They also act as a partner organisation that helps us receive funding through organisations like Bendigo Bank and Stockyard Hill Wind Farm.
This year, Plantfulness donated $800 worth of tools and materials. These have been used by our Hands On Learning program and have helped with our lunchtime gardening club.
Bunnings Delacombe has provided frequent donations over the years, including compost bins, garden tools, seedlings, and tools for our Hands On Learning program. They have also run incursions for our students.
Collins on Lydiard has provided us with a significant discount when purchasing new mentor texts. This has saved our school hundreds of dollars.
The Department of Education and Training has provided us with two significant infrastructure grants totalling just under $700,000. These grants have covered the cost of the installation of the rubber softfall in both playgrounds, and the upcoming installation of a roof over our basketball courts that will allow us to have PE year-round.
