Happy Holidays
Lastly, I would like to take this opportunity to express my heartfelt thanks to you — the families and grown-ups of the fantastic little legends I had the joy and privilege of spending 2026 with. Teaching is, without question, one of the most remarkable professions, and as I complete my tenth year, I am reminded again and again that the true magic lies in the small, everyday moments: the curiosity sparked, the confidence gained, the laughter shared, and even the challenges that help shape who we become. These moments, both in the classroom and out in the yard, are where the real work — and the real wonder — happens.
The learning and development of children is as rewarding as it is demanding, but it is a journey I cherish wholeheartedly. This year has been filled with growth, discovery, resilience, and countless milestones, and none of it would have been possible without your trust, partnership, and support. Education is, at its core, a collaborative effort, and the strength of that partnership has been evident in every success, every breakthrough, and every proud smile.
Thank you for being present, engaged, and committed — not only to your children, but to our shared vision of helping them flourish as learners and as people. It has been a privilege to walk alongside you this year, and I am deeply grateful for the role each of you has played in making this year such a meaningful and memorable one.
I'd also like to take this opportunity to send a huge heartfelt thanks to Miss Jenni!! Your commitment, expertise, kindness, and sense of humour have made all the difference to our Foundation 2025 classroom.
As you may have read in earlier newsletters, I will be stepping away from Beaufort Primary School for 2026. It has been an incredible journey, and I am grateful for the support Tameeka has given me to look beyond BPS to further develop my teaching practice.
Many older students were shocked by the news and had one big question: "Will I be back?" So, as the students say when we play head down thumbs up..... "Maybe? Maybe not?" I do hope to see you all again.
I hope you all have a wonderful Summer break, the most amazing Christmas and a brilliant New Year. Bye for now, Mrs McBride.
