Year 1/2 Learning Community

Year 1/2 Statewide Transition Day

Today, all students in the Junior Learning Community participated in our statewide transition day, to get a small taste of what 2026 might look like for them! We participated in a variety of different tasks that helped us get to know each other, fine-tune our careful listening skills, and get our creative brains cranking with a design challenge to finish the transition period off.

All of the students appeared to have fun, and may have even learned something along the way - which can sometimes be unheard of at this time of the year! Every student demonstrated all of our school values and it was heartwarming to see the kindness and teamwork present in our Newspaper Outfit challenge.

Well done also goes to Willow in the Year 2/3 group for being awarded their most amazing outfit of the afternoon!

As a learning community teaching and assisting team, we would like to extend our biggest thanks to the grownups of our students who have supported their learning across the entire year. Your care and involvement with your child's education has been so wonderful, and we all greatly appreciate this!
