Greetings St Francis Xavier Families,
ADVENT
Last Sunday was the first day of Advent, a sacred season of waiting and hope, inviting us to prepare our hearts for Jesus’ coming. As we light each candle, we remember God’s faithfulness and renew our commitment to prayer, kindness, and joyful anticipation. Together, let us slow down, reflect, and welcome Christ’s light into our school, homes and hearts during this beautiful journey toward Christmas.

SAINT FRANCIS XAVIER FEAST DAY
On Wednesday we celebrated the Feast Day of St Francis Xavier. The day began with a whole school/parish mass - our thanks to Fr Jude for presiding and encouraging us to spend the day feeling joyful and relaxed. Throughout the rest of the day the children participated in a series of rotations during which they learnt a bit more about the Pilgrims of Hope Year and St Francis Xavier. Our Year 6s prepared activities which included a meditation, labyrinth walk, art work, story sharing, faith symbols treasure hunt, origami and prayer trail.

CHRISTMAS GIVING TREE APPEAL
Thank you to the families who have already sent through donations for us to pass on to Community Support Frankston. This Monday is the last day for Christmas donations and
final donations are on Monday the 15th of December.

FINAL SCHOOL MASS
Tuesday December 16th at 1:45pm is our final school mass for 2025. At this mass we reflect in gratitude for all we have shared and achieved throughout the year. It is also an opportunity to farewell our Year 6 students and bless the Year 5s as they step up into being our school leaders.
All families are welcome to attend.
Warmest wishes and God's blessings for the Christmas season and 2026.
