It’s been an exciting fortnight at SFX!We’ve celebrated our SFX Feast Day with engaging rotation activities and explored hands-on learning during both our Science Day rotations and Italian Day rotations. Our Grade 6 girls proudly represented our school at a cricket day as wel. What a wonderful couple of weeks it has been as we move closer to the end of term.
With only seven school days remaining, our amazing Grade 6 students are preparing to head off to high school. While this transition can bring a mix of nerves and anticipation, we know they are ready. I am certain they will flourish, make new friendships, embrace new opportunities, and carry the values of SFX with them on their next chapter.
To our Grade 5s, soon to be the senior leaders of our school, this is your moment to step up. As you enter your final year of primary school, remember to embrace every opportunity, support one another, and most of all, have fun.

Important Dates
If you thought the last few weeks have been busy, brace yourselves for the crazy end-of-year season!
Week 10
- Monday 8th December - Final assembly for the year at 2:15pm. Grade 6 leaders will be announced, and 2025 awards will be presented. Reports also go live today.
- Tuesday 9th December - State wide transition day. Most Grade 6 students will spend at least part of the day at their high school. Grade 5 students will meet their 2026 teacher and class.
- Thursday 11th December - Christmas Carols Concert from 2pm.
- Friday 12th December - Grade 6 Big Day Out at Luna Park. Bus will be leaving at 9am sharp, don't be late! Grade 5 students will be in split classes for the day.
Week 11
- Monday 14th December - Grade 6 Graduation.
- Tuesday 15th December - Last day for students! Our final Mass of the year will be at 1:45pm. Grade 6s will hand over leadership of the school to the Grade 5s at this Mass, so we'd love to have you all there.
